Mood

Mood is a budget-friendly essentials brand. The range here splits three ways: lubricants in water-based, silicone, warming, tingling and sensitive formulas; the Naughty line of silicone anal plugs and trainer plugs; and Ultraskyn masturbators like Thrill, Exciter and the Pleaser models. Arousal and enhancement gels, a Frisky G-spot vibrator and a small bullet fill in the gaps.

If you are building a first anal kit, pair a Naughty trainer plug with the water-based lubricant.

About the Mood range

Mood keeps to the basics and prices them at the entry level. Lubricant is the biggest group, with a plain water-based lube in several sizes, a sensitive water-based formula, a silicone lubricant and warming and tingling versions for a change of sensation. The Naughty anal line runs from the slim Naughty one plug through larger numbered sizes to the Beaded, Contour Beads and Kaleidoscope trainer plugs, with a separate Pride anal trainer kit for anyone who wants a graduated set. For penises there are the Thrill and Exciter Ultraskyn masturbators and the Pleaser strokers in thick ribbed and massage bead textures. The brand also makes arousal gels and Pleasure For Him and Pleasure For Her enhancement gels, a Frisky G-spot vibrator and massager, and a small waterproof bullet.

How to choose from Mood

Decide what you are shopping for first, since each part of the range is fairly self-contained.

  • Lubricant: water-based works with every toy and condom; the silicone formula lasts longer but should not be used with silicone toys; try warming or tingling only after you know a plain formula agrees with you.
  • Anal play: start with the smallest Naughty plug or the trainer kit, confirm the base is flared, and use plenty of lube.
  • Strokers: the Pleaser models are the simplest and least expensive; Thrill and Exciter are a step up in texture.
  • Gels: patch test any arousal or enhancement gel on your inner arm before applying it anywhere sensitive.

FAQs

Mood: frequently asked questions

What does Mood make?

Mood makes entry-level essentials: water-based, sensitive, silicone, warming and tingling lubricants, the Naughty line of silicone anal plugs and trainer plugs, a Pride anal trainer kit, Ultraskyn masturbators and strokers, arousal and enhancement gels, a Frisky G-spot vibrator and a small waterproof bullet.

Which Mood product is good for beginners?

The plain Mood water-based lubricant suits almost everyone and every toy. For a first anal toy, the smallest Naughty silicone plug or the Pride anal trainer kit lets you start small and move up gradually. Go slowly and stop if anything hurts.

How do I care for Mood products?

Wash silicone plugs and the vibrator with warm water and toy cleaner before and after use, and pair silicone toys with the water-based lube rather than the silicone formula. Rinse Ultraskyn strokers with warm water and let them dry fully. Keep lubes and gels capped at room temperature.
