Wand Attachments

What are wand attachments?

Wand attachments are shaped silicone heads that fit over the top of a wand massager. The wand supplies the power; the attachment decides where that power goes. A plain wand head gives broad, rumbly vibration, which suits external use but not much else. Add a curved insertable tip, a rabbit with two arms or a textured sleeve and the same wand becomes a G-spot toy, a dual-stimulation toy or a stroker for the penis. Most attachments in this collection are made for a specific wand family, so they are sold by brand as much as by shape.

Types of wand attachments

Curved and G-spot heads

Le Wand's Curve and Petite Curve, the Wand Essentials Deep Glider and Euphoria, the Bodywand Curve and Ultra G-Touch and the Lovense Domi G-spot head all add an insertable, angled tip. Weighted versions from Le Wand carry vibration deeper into the curve.

Rabbit and dual-stimulation heads

Rabbit attachments from Wand Essentials and Bodywand combine an insertable shaft with an external arm for the clitoris, and the Fluttering Kiss and Hummingbird heads add fluttering tips for external stimulation only.

Textured covers and sensation heads

Ripple, Flick, Flexi and Glider heads from Le Wand, and Nuzzle Tip, Lily Pod and Fluttertip heads from Wand Essentials, change the texture and spread of the vibration without adding much length. They are a gentle first step if you find a bare wand head too intense.

Penis and stroker attachments

The Le Wand Penis Play and Stroke heads, the Merci Cock Stroker and Cock Teaser, the Wand Essentials Twin Turbo Strokers and the Bodywand Masturbator attachment wrap around the penis so the wand works as a vibrating stroker. The Lovense Domi P-spot head is shaped for the prostate; use plenty of lube and keep the wand handle outside the body, as with any anal toy.

Wands sold with attachments

A few items here are complete wands bundled with heads, including the Bodywand mini wand and the Bang mini wand set, a tidy way to start if you do not own a wand yet.

How to choose a wand attachment

Compatibility is the first filter; shape and intensity come after.

• Wand compatibility: buy attachments made for your wand's brand and head size. Le Wand full-size and Petite heads take different covers; Wand Essentials covers are made for standard full-size wand heads; Domi heads only fit the Lovense Domi.
• Insertable or external: decide whether you want an insertable tip or a cover that simply changes the feel on the outside.
• Weighted or light: weighted silicone transmits more rumble; lighter covers soften a strong wand.
• Who is it for: stroker and P-spot heads make a wand useful for penis owners too, which is handy for couples sharing one wand.
• Material: silicone is the norm here; it is easy to clean and holds up well with water-based lube.

How to use and care for wand attachments

Attachments are simple to use but they trap moisture inside, so cleaning takes a little more attention than a bare wand.

• Apply a water-based lubricant to any insertable head; avoid silicone lube on silicone attachments.
• Press the head fully onto the wand until it seats, so vibration transfers and the attachment cannot slip off during use.
• Start on the lowest setting; an attachment focuses the wand's power, so it can feel stronger than the bare head.
• Remove the attachment after use, wash inside and out with warm water and a toy cleaner, and dry it completely before putting it back.
• Store heads apart from each other and out of direct sunlight.

Wand attachments for beginners and couples

If you already own a wand and find it intense, a soft textured cover is the easiest upgrade and costs little. Beginners who want an insertable toy should start with a slim curve rather than a rabbit. Couples get the most out of attachments: one wand, a curved head for one partner and a stroker head for the other, which is why wands feature so often in couples toys.
