Penis Chastity

What is a penis chastity cage?

A chastity cage is a device worn over the penis that limits erection and prevents touch. Most consist of a base ring that sits behind the testicles and a cage that covers the shaft, joined and locked together so the wearer cannot remove it without the key. It is used in power-exchange play between partners, where one person becomes the keyholder, and by solo wearers who enjoy the sensation and the mindset of denial. Cages come in rigid metal, flexible silicone or TPE, and clear acrylic, in sizes from full length down to micro.

Types of chastity cages

Stainless steel cages

Blue Line stainless cages, the Master Series Spike Chamber and Blue Line's Turtle Head and inverted Jail Time designs are rigid, heavy and secure. Steel is the traditional choice and is easy to keep clean, but it offers no give, so sizing must be right.

Silicone and TPE cages

Blue Line's silicone and TPE cages with a ball loop, the Oxballs Airlock vented silicone cage and the Master Series metal cage with a silicone end cap are lighter and more forgiving. Flexible cages are the usual recommendation for a first device and for longer wear.

Acrylic see-through cages

Blue Line's clear acrylic cages, including mini and micro versions, let the keyholder see everything while remaining light. Acrylic is rigid like steel but weighs much less.

Mini and micro cages

Mini, micro and little-cock designs from Blue Line, including a glow-in-the-dark version, keep the shaft tightly compressed. They are for experienced wearers who already know their fit.

Inverted, full-coverage and specialty devices

The Master Series Inverted cage and Blue Line Flying V inversion devices push the penis inward, full-coverage designs enclose the penis and testicles together, ManCage models add an internal plug, and the Cock Cuff snap-on and Hard Stop double ring take different approaches to security. The Possession Chastity Key Necklace lets the keyholder wear the key.

How to choose a chastity cage

Measure first, then decide on material and how long you intend to wear it.

• Ring size: Measure the circumference behind the testicles while soft and relaxed. The ring should be snug but never cut into the skin.
• Cage length and width: Measure the flaccid penis; a cage slightly shorter than that measurement keeps it secure without pinching.
• Material: Silicone or TPE for a first cage and longer sessions; steel or acrylic for rigidity and visual appeal.
• Ventilation and hygiene: Open bars, vents and a clear urination path make washing and daily life easier.
• Lock type: Padlocks are most secure; integrated locks are more discreet under clothing.

How to use and care for a chastity cage

Fit the ring first, then guide the penis into the cage using a little water-based lubricant, and lock it only once everything sits comfortably. Wear it for short periods at first and remove it immediately if you notice numbness, cold skin, swelling or pain.

• Remove and wash the cage and the skin underneath daily with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner; dry thoroughly before refitting.
• Keep a spare key somewhere the wearer can reach in an emergency.
• Check for chafing and redness every time you refit and give the skin a break if you see any.
• Agree on a check-in word and realistic time limits with your keyholder before locking.

Chastity cages for beginners and couples

A beginner should start with a flexible silicone or TPE cage in a standard length and wear it for an hour or two at home before trying overnight wear. Couples who want to build a broader power-exchange scene can combine chastity with restraints and other ideas from our for couples edit, and the wider male sex toys range covers rings and sleeves for when the cage comes off.
