Inflatable Butt Plugs

What are inflatable butt plugs?

An inflatable butt plug is an anal plug with a hollow body connected by a tube to a hand pump. You insert it at its smallest size, then squeeze the pump to expand the body a little at a time. A release valve lets the air out so the plug returns to its original size for removal. The appeal is control: rather than choosing one fixed size from our butt plugs range, you can adjust fullness gradually and find exactly the point that feels good. Most of the plugs here are silicone, with a flared base or anchor to keep them securely outside the body.

Types of inflatable butt plugs

Classic silicone inflatable plugs

Plain inflatables such as the CalExotics medium, large and XL plugs, the Levelz range, Anal Fantasy Collection and Renegade Inflataplay are the straightforward option: a smooth body, a pump and a valve, available in several starting sizes.

Vibrating inflatable plugs

Swell's rechargeable vibrating plugs, the Zero Tolerance Bubble Butt and the Master Series Dark Pearl add a motor and usually a remote. The Lux Fetish and Fetish Fantasy Extreme plugs do the same with a wired or wireless remote. Our vibrating butt plugs collection has fixed-size alternatives.

Weighted inflatable plugs

The Master Series Rattler, Colt Weighted Pumper and CalExotics Weighted plug carry an internal weight that shifts as you move, adding a sense of heft to the fullness.

Textured inflatable plugs

Ribbed, beaded and nubbed versions from Levelz, Size Up, Master Series Puffer and ME YOU US add surface texture that becomes more noticeable as the plug expands.

Anchor and specialist plugs

Master Series anchor-shaped and magnetic plugs are built for a secure seated fit. The collection also includes an inflatable enema plug and an e-stim kit, which are advanced products for experienced users.

How to choose inflatable butt plugs

Match the starting size and features to your experience.

• Starting size: The deflated size is what you insert, so beginners should choose a plug that is slim before pumping. Experienced users can look at large butt plugs for bigger starting points.
• Material: Silicone is smooth and easy to clean. One Lux Fetish plug is latex, so avoid it if you have a latex allergy.
• Release valve: Check that the valve is easy to find and operate by feel before you insert the plug.
• Vibration and remote: Useful for partner play, but adds complexity for a first inflatable.
• Weight and texture: Add these once you are comfortable with plain inflation.

How to use and care for inflatable butt plugs

Apply plenty of water-based lubricant to the plug and yourself, insert slowly while deflated, and pump one squeeze at a time, pausing to let your body adjust. Always deflate fully before removing. Stop if anything hurts.

• Never pump past comfortable fullness; more air is not the goal.
• Do not leave an inflated plug in place for extended periods or while sleeping.
• Clean the body before and after use with warm water and a toy cleaner; keep the pump and any motor dry.
• Inspect the tube and valve for cracks and discard any plug that leaks air.
• Use water-based lubricant only with silicone plugs.

Inflatable butt plugs for beginners and experienced users

Inflatables can be a surprisingly good choice for beginners, because a small deflated plug with a few gentle pumps gives a sense of fullness that a fixed plug of the same size cannot, and you can back off instantly. If you are brand new, our beginners butt plugs are also worth a look. Experienced users tend to pick the XL, weighted or anchor designs for a fuller, longer-wearing feel, or a vibrating plug with a remote for partner play. In every case, go slowly, deflate before removal and let comfort set the pace.
