What are suction cup dildos?

A suction cup dildo has a flat, flexible base that grips a smooth surface such as a shower wall, tiled floor or the side of a bath, so the toy stays in place and both hands stay free. Beyond that shared base, the collection is remarkably varied: smooth and swirled silicone dildos in bright colours, clear glitter-filled designs, glow-in-the-dark pieces, fantasy shapes such as tentacles and dinosaurs, curved G-spot and ribbed designs, girthy and bulbous anal-friendly shapes, and a large range of lifelike dual-density replica dildos whose suction cup is removable.

Types of suction cup dildos

Realistic suction cup dildos

Lifelike shafts, many with balls, in a soft dual-density material over a firmer core. Most in this group have a removable suction cup that doubles as a harness-compatible base, and some use a Vac-U-Lock style plug. Browse the wider realistic dildos range.

Colourful and fantasy dildos

Glitter-filled clear dildos, swirled and ombre silicone, glow-in-the-dark finishes and creature-inspired shapes. These are about fun and texture as much as realism. See fantasy dildos for more.

Curved and G-spot dildos

Shafts with a pronounced curve or bulbed head, sometimes ribbed, designed to angle toward the G-spot or prostate when mounted at the right height. Compare G-spot dildos.

Girth and anal-focused dildos

Thicker, tapered or bulbous silicone shapes, including fist-style and cone designs, built for experienced anal users who want fullness and a secure wide base.

How to choose a suction cup dildo

Think about where you will mount it, how firm you want it and whether you also want to use it in a harness.

• Base type: A fixed cup is simplest. A removable cup gives you a flat base for a harness and makes cleaning easier.
• Firmness: Firmer toys hold their position better when mounted; softer dual-density toys feel more lifelike but may flex under weight.
• Size: Judge insertable length and girth honestly. Mounted toys take your full body weight, so choose slightly smaller than you would hand-held.
• Material: Silicone and dual-density blends are the norm here; both are non-porous and clean easily. Clear glitter styles may be a different material, so check the listing.
• Surface: Suction cups grip smooth, non-porous surfaces. Textured tiles, wood and painted walls will not hold.

How to use and care for suction cup dildos

Wet the cup slightly and press it firmly onto a clean, smooth surface, then test that it holds before you put weight on it. Use a water-based lubricant with silicone toys, since silicone lube can damage them.

• Wash before and after use with warm water and a mild toy cleaner, and clean under a removable cup where lubricant collects.
• For anal use the suction cup acts as the flared base, but never use a dildo anally once the cup is removed unless the remaining base is clearly wider than the shaft.
• Go slowly when lowering onto a mounted toy, and stop if the angle or depth hurts.
• Store away from other silicone toys and out of direct sunlight.

Suction cup dildos for beginners and couples

If this is your first dildo, a slim, smooth silicone shape with a fixed cup is the easiest to mount, clean and control. Couples use suction cup dildos for hands-free play in the shower or add one to a harness for strap-on sex. Those who want motion can look at vibrating dildos, and the main dildos collection covers glass, double-ended and other styles without a cup.
