What lingerie should I wear for the first time?

Fit and sizing: Check the size chart for each item, as sizing can vary between styles. If you are between sizes, read the product details on stretch and fit.
Fabric: Lace is delicate and decorative, satin is smooth, mesh is light and stretchy, and cotton blends are soft against the skin. Choose fabrics that feel comfortable if you have sensitive skin.
Comfort: Look at straps, closures and seams. Adjustable straps and soft elastic make wearing it for longer easier.
Occasion: Consider whether you want something to wear under clothes, for a special night or for a photo or gift moment.
Gifting tip: If you are shopping for someone else, think about their usual style and size, and consider adding a note rather than guessing. A gift receipt or easy exchange is a good idea where available.

Choose something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Many people start with a soft bralette set, a teddy or a babydoll in a fabric they like. Check the size chart and avoid anything that feels restrictive.

How do I know my lingerie size?

Measure yourself using the brand's size chart, as sizing can vary between styles and makers. If you are between sizes, read the details on stretch and fit. For one-piece styles, check torso length as well.

How do you wash lingerie?

Check the care label first. Most delicate pieces do best hand washed in cool water with gentle detergent, or in a mesh bag on a delicate cycle. Avoid bleach and fabric softener, and air dry flat.

What lingerie is good as a gift?

Think about the recipient's usual style and favorite colours, and choose fabrics that feel comfortable. Sets and bodysuits are common gifts. If you are unsure of size, consider an accessory or ask them directly.

What is the difference between a teddy and a babydoll?

A teddy is a fitted one-piece garment, similar to a bodysuit, while a babydoll is a loose, flowing top, usually short and often paired with matching briefs. Teddies are more snug and babydolls are more relaxed.
