Explore Something New

What is in the Explore Something New collection?

This is the games and icebreakers shelf. Most of what you will find here is a card, dice or board game designed to get couples or a party talking, laughing and trying things they might not suggest unprompted. Alongside the games sit a few ready-made couples kits that bundle a vibrator or a first-time bondage set with everything needed for a night in. Several titles come in Spanish-language editions, and a handful are aimed squarely at bachelorette parties.

Types of games and kits

Couples card and board games

Decks and boards that deal out questions, dares and positions for two players, from relationship-focused board games to position decks and foreplay card games. These are the slow-burn option: an evening of play rather than a quick roll.

Dice games

The quickest way in. A pair of dice pairs an action with a body part, or an edition themed around foreplay, kink or Pride. Dice are inexpensive, pocket-sized and need no explanation, which makes them an easy gift.

Party and bachelorette games

Pin-the-tail style posters, ring toss, inflatable sword fights, pinatas and beer pong sets with novelty balls. These are for groups and laughter rather than intimacy, and they tend to be the most affordable items in the collection.

Couples starter kits

Boxed sets that pair a rechargeable silicone vibrator or a light bondage set with accessories such as a blindfold, massage candle or tickler. They are a shortcut to trying several things at once, and a natural step after a game has broken the ice. For more ideas, browse our couples collection.

How to choose a game or kit

Think about who is playing, how much time you have and how adventurous everyone actually feels.

• Audience: Couples games assume two consenting partners. Party games assume a crowd and a sense of humour. Do not mix them up when buying a gift.
• Pace: Dice are fast, card decks are medium, board games fill an evening.
• Intensity: Foreplay and position games stay playful. Kink editions and first-time bondage kits go further, so check the box before you buy.
• Language: Several dice and board games are available in Spanish as well as English.
• Replay value: Larger decks and board games stay fresh longer than a single pair of dice.

How to get the most out of adult games

Think of every card or roll as a suggestion, not an order. Anyone can pass, swap or adapt a dare, and the game works better when both people feel free to say so.

• Set the mood first: lighting, music and a glass of something help a game land.
• Keep a water-based lubricant nearby if the game is likely to lead somewhere.
• Clean any toys from a kit with a mild toy cleaner before and after use.
• Stop the game if anyone is uncomfortable; the point is fun, not completion.

Something new for beginners and couples

If you are nervous about introducing toys or kink into a relationship, a game is the gentlest way to start the conversation, because the cards do the asking for you. A foreplay dice set or a couples card game costs little and reveals a lot about what each partner enjoys. From there, our beginner-friendly toys and the vibrators collection are logical next steps, and light restraints suit couples whose game nights keep landing on the daring cards.
